The Coastal & Marine Union (EUCC) and Kust & Zee will be hosting an international seminar about bridging the gap between science and coastal management, which will take place between 24th and 26th November 2010, in Texel (The Netherlands).

This event will address the needs of adaptive strategies and dealing with the impacts of climate change. In particular, it will provide an insight on the innovative and knowledge-based approaches and tools being developed under the project IMCORE (Innovative Management for Europe’s Changing Coastal Resources) and the first-hand results of the Dutch project MOSSELWAD (Restoration and Sustainable Management of Mussel-beds in the Wadden Sea).

Scientists, practitioners, policy makers and representatives of the coastal management community in NW Europe are welcome to participate.
